2010 UN concert better than ever.
Students parents were treated to a cultural music and dance extravaganza during the OFS High School UN Concert 2010 last month.
“I thought it [the concert] was fantastic,” said the concert director Ms. Calvert.
“I was very impressed with how hard the student’s worked.”
Hundreds of parents were treated to the concerts on September 16th in the school’s auditorium.
“Each year [the performances] get better and better,” a High School parent mentioned.
Students managed to pull of what was needed for the concert with even less preparation time than last year.
“The effort everybody put into this definitely paid off,” Ms. Fogarty, an English teacher said.
Students had to give up precious free time, such as weekends and after school, to make this concert happen.
“I was very impressed by the work everyone put in,” Ben, a student said.
Students were very pleased with the final result, as well as the parent’s overwhelming positive feedback for the concert.
“The performers never seem to disappoint me,” Iara, student council president said.
Students that had a chance to see the whole concert were thoroughly impressed.
“Not only was the concert great, but then after heading downstairs, there was great food to be enjoyed from all over the world, too,” said a High School student.
The concert’s hype certainly lived up to expectations, and everyone looks forward to next year’s offerings.
